Please feel free to use the blog below to share information about Body Hair Removal or to ask Dr. Franziska Ringpfeil a question that might be of interest to others.
In recent years body hair removal for men became popular. We often have men who come to our practice to remove hair from the back, chest, and abdomen. Women, on the other hand, are more commonly disturbd by unwanted hair on the chest area.

The skin in the bikini area is extremely sensitive. Using traditional methods of hair removal can be extremely painful and cause unwanted complication like nicks and ingrown hair. Laser hair removal is an excellent option for removing hair in the biki or pubic area. After 4-6 treatments over 90% of the hair is permanently removed. In some cases, maintenance treatments are needed once every 6 months to 3 years.
Do you offer gift certificate packages such as 6 treatments for laser hair removal? Wanting to give it as a Christmas present. Thank you.
Our fees for laser hair removal are low and therefore we do not offer treatment packages.
Hi Dr. Ringpfeil!
My question is about the bikini area electrolysis. What are the prices for a 30 and 60 minutes treatment? How much time is needed (an average) to remove hair on the whole bikini zone (I mean just the first round of removing hair)? Thank you very much!
Electrolysis is an ideal technique for patches of gray or white hair on the face or the occasional stray gray hair. In my opinion, it is unsuitable to use on large areas, because every hair follicle has to be treated singly. The bikini area is therefore not an area that lends itself to electrolysis. It would take innumerable number of sessions to remove all hair from the bikini area. In order to avoid this kind of frustration, we do not offer electrolysis in this area.
